We are advocating for natural consolidation in the banking industry rather than a forced one. This has been the stance taken by central bank of Kenya governor, Dr. Patrick Njoroge.  The sector has in the last three years faced an array of consolidation as banks mergers as businesses seek to increase market share and capital reserves.
