Case against MP David Gikaria pushed to 17th April 2019

The case against Nakuru town east MP David Gikaria has been pushed to 17th of April for hearing in Nakuru law courts. Gikaria was charged with 8 counts of fraud in a land case where he had been accused of fraudulently acquiring a parcel of land valued at 45 million shillings in Lanet area of Nakuru County. The legislator was arrested on Monday by officers from the Directorate of criminal investigation in Nakuru but was released on Ksh. 400,000 personal bond yesterday after successfully petitioning an initial personal bond of 3 million. Gikaria walks to freedom albeit for months until the hearing of his case scheduled for 17th of April this year.
