The Director of Public Prosecutions Nordin Hajji is training his guns on the second phase of the standard gauge railway compensation exercise that has now been marred by corruption allegations running into billions of shillings. Haji says that investigations into the 10.2 billion shillings payout will commence immediately putting on notice various authorities to cease all pending payments. Haji was accompanied by newly appointed EACC CEO Twalib Mbarak when the anti-corruption commission handed over a piece of land worth 2 billion shillings that had been grabbed by a private developer back to the University of Nairobi.
