The government is set to procure a total of 600 milk coolers in an effort to reduce the loss of raw milk and prevent low quality milk. This emerged at quality and safety of milk workshop held in Nairobi. The amount of milk lost owing to lack of cooling facilities has hindered rural?based farmers from fetching good returns from milk sales.
