Britam sinks Kshs. 1.4 Billion to invest in an energy private equity fund

Britam asset managers limited announced that the company is investing 1.4 billion shillings in an energy private equity fund – ever strong power limited. The private equity firm ever strong will use the funds to buy a stake in the 80mw heavy fuel oil Athi river power plant, owned by gulf energy. Kenneth Kaniu, CEO, Britam asset managers has stated that the investment will achieve diversification across asset classes and currencies.
