More than 20 years ago Peter Wambugu an Apple farmer in Kenya, quit coffee farming for Apples and has since been successful in the practice.
Most of the apples we eat in Kenya are imported either from the Middle East or South Africa.
This is because exotic trees require a lot of work and are quite delicate.
Fresh and Fruity visited an Apple farmer to understand how he has managed to make it work in Kenya.
