Heavy gunfire and explosion were reported at 14 Riverside Drive off Chiromo Road in Westlands, Nairobi.

Four cars have been destroyed in the incident.

Ambulances, security forces and firefighters were at the scene as Recce Squad officers evacuate civilians from the boutique hotel.
