A chief in Kilifi County is nursing serious injuries after he, together with his assistant and three policemen were attacked by angry youths at Shiriani area. David Kahindi suffered multiple injuries and is now hospitalized at Jocham hospital in Mombasa while his assistant and policemen were treated and discharged. The officers were attacked as they tried to stop a disco Matanga, a move that infuriated the youths who turned on them.
