The Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet has appointed eight regional commanders in the first phase of the command restructuring process that was announced last year. The eight commanders will lead policing in the former 8 provinces. Boinnet added that the full digitization of national police service systems, procedures and process will commence next week.
