A distress call from the last born son to KDF officer Sergeant James Jobia drove him into action to save his two other sons who were drowning in a gravel excavation quarry filled with water at the Thika barracks. Little did he know that his simple act of bravery would cost him his life and that of his two sons who were all laid to rest together in Meru county.
