Kenya looking to sign agreements as civil aviation conference kicks off

With the ongoing ICAO Air services negotiations, Gambia becomes the fifteenth state to sign the memorandum of implementation of the Yamoussoukro decision on the establishment of the single African air transport market. Kenya being the host of ICAN 2018 is looking to seize the opportunity to have signatures with other countries on bilateral agreements.  The Yamoussoukro declaration, commits its signatory countries to deregulate air services, and promote regional air markets open to transnational competition.
