Residents of Wangu ward in Kiharu constituency fear the worst could befall them soon after a mysterious animal mauled their sheep and goats. 

By Saturday night, residents had accounted more than 50 sheep lost to the predators pangs. 

The incident comes barely days after a similar incident was reported in a neighboring village.
