Embattled agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and irrigation Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has raised concern over unsafe food that Kenyans could be consuming. Kiunjuri now says the establishment of a national food safety authority to curb unsafe foods is imminent. Kiunjuri was speaking during Brookside diary national raw milk suppliers award where close to 100 million shillings was given as a bonus to dairy farmers who had supplied the biggest dairy firm in the region.
