Fatal Rite of passage: 2 initiates die during circumcision

At the end of every year mostly after KCPE exams are done, hundreds of young boys in central Kenya undergo the right of passage to transit them to adulthood. Juliano Kanyonyo, was one of the initiates but his is a sad tragic story. Juliano was a KCPE candidate at Gatitu primary in Kandara Muranga and obtained 376 marks. His initiation ended tragically after he met his death when 7 other young men allegedly assaulted him by hitting him on the head.
