An additional 1000 houses could be added to the market from the first quarter next year as a result of Karibu homes partnering with Tatu city. The partnership will see 
over 4 billion shillings invested in what they term as affordable houses as the two companies look to tap into the 1.9 million house gap in Nairobi .
