KANU leaders against divisive politics, want leaders to focus on development

20th November, 2018

COTU Vice Chairperson rev Joel Chebii and a section of North Rift KANU grassroots leaders have blasted some Rift Valley politicians for dragging the name of retired President Daniel Arap Moi into the maize row pitting Farmers against the government. Speaking in Uasin Gishu County, the leaders said it was regrettable that the Politicians have been misusing Moi’s name to gain political mileage. The leaders asked rift leaders to focus on finding lasting remedies for the high cost of living, maize scandal and high cost of electricity instead of playing 2022 politics.
