In a bid to capitalize on the tourist season, the government is looking to review charter incentives to capture low-cost carriers. The charter incentive program launched in
2016 to help restore the tourism sector through the opening up of air traffic has currently seen over 7,504 arrivals in the market from January to August this year.***but the government feels that more can be achieved. Kenya currently hosts over 10 charter airlines since the injection of ksh 1.2 billion by the government in 2016
