3rd November, 2018

A section of Bomet MPs who recently walked out on President Uhuru Kenyatta in Bomet county after they were denied a chance to address a meeting have made an about turn and shifted blame to the president’s protocol.

The dramatic event unfolded two weeks ago during an official visit by the president. speaking in Sotik Saturday, the leaders who walked out including senator Christopher Langat and woman rep Joyce Korir said they will continue working with Bomet governor Joyce Laboso.

Interestingly, it is the two MPs who led five of their colleagues in the protest as they accused the governor of failing to recognize them when Uhuru was in Bomet for the lake region economic bloc conference.
