Mudavadi: Royalty and dynasty talk is dangerous

The Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi has warned that Kenya risks being split along class lines if political talk about royalties, dynasties and hustlers is not checked. 

On Friday, opposition chief Raila Odinga took a swipe at the ‘hustler’ narrative associated with deputy president William Ruto in the Kenyatta succession. 

Raila said he and Uhuru are sons of born paupers and that the dynasty narrative is being spun to block him and other credible leaders from leadership positions.
