Kenya National Union of Nurse’s Secretary Seth Panyako was arrested over claims of inciting health workers. Panyako was nabbed at the Kenyatta National Hospital where he was supposed to address the nurses’ union members who were demanding their right to join the union. Panyako was arrested alongside other health officials at the hospital where some nurses had already downed their tools over what they term as insecurity.  Addressing the media outside the Kilimani police station, deputy secretary of the Kenya National Union of Nurses Moris Odhiambo said Panyako should be released unconditionally or else all nurses around the country would join in the strike. ?
