The anti-corruption court sitting in Nairobi is set to begin hearing the case in which 14 senior officials of the Kenya power company have been implicated in the procurement of faulty transformers worth millions of shillings. The officials including former CEO Ben Chumo were first arraigned in court in July where they pleaded not guilty to the charges. They have since been out on bail.
