The family of former Garissa finance executive, Idriss Mukhtar, now claims the director of public prosecutions, Noordin Hajji, is facing clan frustrations in executing the case against those who planned the shooting of Idriss.

Aden Mukhtar, claims efforts from influential members of the clan to persuade them to accept alternative compensation for the shooting of his son have been ongoing. But through lawyer, Charles Kanjama, the family insists it will go to any length to get justice for their son who survived the shooting.
