How a Canadian allegedly defrauded former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana of Ksh76 million

A Canadian national has been charged with defrauding former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana of sh76 million by falsely pretending that he was in a position to invest for him the money in the oil industry. Appearing before Nairobi chief magistrate Francis Andayi, Abdoulaye Tamba also faced four other counts of being in possession of fake currencies worth millions. Tamba denied the fraud charges and was released on a cash bail of sh3 million. The case will be heard on November 29 this year.
