The plot appears to be thickening for Migori governor Okoth Obado who will now have to convince the courts that he is innocent in the twin murder of the late Sharon Otieno and her unborn child.

The state has amended charges facing the governor to two, this time to include Sharon's unborn baby. The court today further allowed the consolidation of the governor's case together with his aides Michael Myamo and Caspal Obiero with the bail hearing slated for Friday.
