The Aga Khan University Hospital has been caught up in a controversy after it allegedly discharged a patient without following the right procedures. 

The hospital is being accused of wrongfully discharging the patient and dumping her in Kileleshwa where her family lives. 

A statement from the hospital, however, says it took the action after the patient overstayed in their hospital accruing a bill of Ksh 49 million shillings.
