Vihiga County plans to put up a state of the art stadium at the county even as their Vihiga united remains rooted on 12th in the Kenya premier league  and in a fight to remain in top flight football next season. The county governor  Wilberforce Otichilo says the aim of the stadium is to nurture upcoming talents within the region.
