The inaugural senate county sittings kickoff today in Uasin Gishu. Senate speaker Kenneth Lusaka will lead the sittings which run from today until Thursday this week. The county assembly chambers in Eldoret will play host to 67 senators, who will have a chance to share experiences with their county assembly counterparts. The constitution allows the senate to hold sittings anywhere within the country.
