The ministry of transport, infrastructure, housing, urban development and public works, today held a sitting with Kenya Ports Authority stakeholders to give an update on their continued efforts to improve trade facilitation through the port of Mombasa.

James Macharia, cabinet secretary for the ministry of transport and infrastructure, emphasised that despite congestion of containers that causes slow cargo evacuation from the inland container depot, the ministry is working to enhance the ease of doing business.
