House of Cards: Is the opposition to blame for the fuel crisis?

Is the opposition to blame for the current crisis that Kenyans are facing over the controversial taxation on petroleum products? 

Well critics have argued that since the March 9th handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition chief Raila Odinga, the opposition negated their sole responsibility of keeping the Government in check hence the reason the executive has managed to muzzle both the legislature and judiciary.
