Embattled Former chairman of chase bank, Mohammed Zafrulla khan has been arraigned in court for allegedly obtaining sh 1.15 billion through conspiracy and fraud, between January 2015 and March 2016. He appeared before senior resident magistrate Hellen Onkwani, and denied the criminal charges. He faces trial alongside nine others who failed to appear in court following summons. The former bank boss, alongside three others is accused of removing the sh1.1 billion from chase bank accounts and facilitating the transfer to paramount universal bank.
