Over 400 million Kenyan shillings is needs if the blue economy conference it is to successfully happen in Nairobi next month. The ministry of foreign affairs has admitted to fall 50% short of their earlier estimated 800 million but are still optimistic of the success of the event. The conference aimed at exploring investments for lakes and oceans, was planned to happen between the 26th and the 28th of November and has received numerous backing from the United Kingdom among other countries but has still failed to gather the complete estimate.
