Deputy President William Ruto now says the government plans to review remittances by workers to the national hospital insurance fund, NHIF, to match their earnings.  Ruto says those receiving high salaries should pay more to NHIF so as to fill the gap left by the vulnerable members of society who are not able to remit huge figures.
