Kenyans Beware of conmen using Mike Sonko's name to milk money from you

A Facebook account that goes by the name Mike Sonko Foundation is on the spot after Kenyans took to social media to complain how, the people running it have been soliciting money from them in order to have them join the famous Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s rescue team.

To corroborate this claims, the governor also took to social media to warn Kenyans against falling prey to such conmen and Women.

Standard Digital Video can firmly verify that, an account by the name Mike Sonko Foundation exist and it runs ads it’s wall. Additionally the owners of the group keep on updating it’s profile to match that of governor Mike Sonko.

In a bid to caution members of the public, the governor wrote on his Facebook timeline

“There are some conmen and Conwomen who are using my name and that of Sonko Rescue Team to con Kenyans money cheating them to secure them Jobs after paying 200 as SRT Registration Fees,” said Mike Sonko.

“Kindly be very careful before you become the next victim. Ignore the Message they are forwarding to People.We have arrested several and charged them in court”, said Mike Sonko
