Taita Taveta governor Granton Samboja has been before the Senate committee this morning to answer to accountability queries. Issues emerging from the grilling session include pending bills by the previous administration under former governor John Murutu. The county cannot explain how it incurred bills amount to 1B shillings, half of the amount not supported by documentation.
