In the fight against illicit trade the KRA revenue authority has blocked drug tycoons from smuggling heroin from Uganda into the country valued at kshs 2.9 million. The drugs were discovered after the officers became suspicious of a package by the k9 unit at a DHL yard. KRA's dedication in curbing illicit trade was further heightened by additional man power of k9 handlers and equipment’s at the many ports of entry.
