Kenya is still grappling with the burden of the HIV/AIDS virus despite the government's efforts to invest in public health.
According to the ministry of health, more than 50,000 Kenyans living with the virus die annually even as statistics indicate that 15 % of the deaths in adults are as a result of opportunistic HIV/Aids-related diseases.
Speaking during the launch of national guidelines on the fight against HIV and AIDS, case for health Rashid Aman said HIV still remains a major challenge in public health.
