Kilifi residents are set to benefit from a 1 billion shillings steel factory opened in Rabai constituency. The factory dubbed jumbo steel mills began operations yesterday has already employed300 people with prospects of employing 200 more once it is fully operationalized.

The company is one of 11 companies which committed themselves to invest over 300 billion shillings in Kilifi County during the international investment conference held in 2016.
