National lands commission chairman Dr. Mohammad Swazuri and Kenya Railways Managing Director Atanas Maina are among eight individuals who have spent at least two nights in police cells over alleged fraudulent SGR compensations. The suspects were arrested by Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission sleuths following a directive by the director of public prosecutions who agreed with charges being levelled against them. The remaining nine suspects have been asked to present themselves to EACC headquarters forthwith.
