Kalonzo Musyoka calls for probe into alleged bribery within parliament

11th August, 2018

Pressure is now mounting for investigative agencies to turn their spotlight on the alleged bribery of MPs during the vote on the sugar probe report. Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his ANC counterpart Musalia Mudavadi are petitioning the president Uhuru Kenyatta to appoint a judicial commission of inquiry to investigate importation of poisonous sugar into the country following the rejection of sugar probe report in the national assembly. They made the appeal as Siaya Senator James Orengo called for the halt of all parliamentary committees' work.
