A section of legislators from Nyanza region are calling for the resignation of treasury cabinet secretary Henry Rotich. Led by Homa Bay Woman Rep Gladys Wanga the mps want president Uhuru Kenyatta to sack the CS after a joint parliamentary probe implicated him in the contraband sugar importation scandal. The MPs were speaking in Alego Usonga where they reiterated their support to President Uhuru Kenyatta in the war against graft.
