Why MPs aren't satisfied with Illicit Sugar Report

The National Assembly joint agriculture and trade committee wants the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and the ethics and anti-corruption commission to investigate three cabinet secretaries for allegedly allowing importation of excess sugar into the country and evasion of taxes.  The committee wants Cabinet Secretaries Henry Rotich, Adan Mohammed and former agriculture Cabinet Secretary Willy Bett investigated to establish circumstances under which they recommended waiver of duty worth Ksh.12.5 billion for fourteen companies.
