A man in Kisii county has severed a limb of his wife after a domestic quarrel

Still on domestic violence, and a man in Kisii county has severed a limb of his wife. The victim, Ednah Kemuma a mother of one says she was attacked by her husband outside her parents home in Etago sub?county where she had gone to seek refugee after a domestic quarrel. According to Kemuma, her husband Evans Kengere followed her to her parents’ home in Masagere village and asked her to meet him outside the compound where he chopped off her hand using a machete. Kisii county director of health services, Dr. Geofrey Otomu, said the victim was responding well to medication and was out of danger. The victim’s uncle, Erastus Ogembo said the differences had been simmering for close to six years.
