Residents of Mukunike village in Kilimambogo of Thika East sub-county are living in fear after Chinese quarry destroyed their houses as well structures at a nearby school while blasting rocks to get ballast. 

Residents are demanding a shutdown of the quarry owned by Sinohydro Corporation limited, citing more danger to the school community and nearby homesteads.
