An otherwise rare trade that is booming in West Pokot, backed by a ready market. The county is grooming to fish farming and the returns look promising as locals embrace fish eating even in the open markets. This county initiative has attracted many traders who keep smiling off the shores of Turkwel manmade lake. The county targets to breed fish that would provide nearly 500 tons of white meat by the end of the year. Ray polo reports.
