Former Nyandarua governor Daniel Waithaka Mwangi alongside two other senior officers who served in his government were early Friday charged in a Nakuru court with corruption-related offences over a sh50 million shilling tender. Waithaka who appeared before chief magistrate Josephat Kalo was among other things charged with willfully failing to comply with requirements of the public procurement and disposal act by procuring services of m/s Tahal consulting engineers without a procurement plan
