The government has disclosed that it is in the final process of concluding talks with the local community and Tullow oil towards having a lasting solution to insecurity in Lokichar. Petroleum principal secretary Andrew Kamau says that by Friday this week a deal will be struck. His sentiments were echoed by the cabinet administrative secretary john Mosonik.
