Property of unknown value was razed last night at Uhuru market in Nairobi. Witnesses say the fire was sparked by a cigarette that came into contact with glue used to make handbags.  Firefighters drawn from the Nairobi county fire department responded immediately but could not access the area due to congestion. Traders have been left counting huge losses, barely a month after a similar fire broke out in Gikomba market.
