The St Mary’s Mission Hospital, in Gigil, Nakuru County, is slowly settling six months operation under the leadership of Assumption Sisters of Nairobi. A court order paved way for  the nuns to take over management of the hospital on January 19 from Father William Charles Fryda following a spate of chaos over the ownership of the facility. As Elphas Lagat now reports the hospital has acquired medical equipment worth millions of shillings as it establishes its footing.
