A section of Kibera residents have been evicted following elapse an extended notice issued by the Kenya urban roads authority. The dawn demolitions have halted lessons in schools along Ngong road – Kibera – Kungu Karumba – Langata link road that has been marked for expansion. The government maintains it has been fair in postponing the evictions while affected persons still cry foul.
