The recent spate of evictions has elicited mixed reactions as the government seeks to reclaim more than 10,000 hectares of land encroached at the Mau, Kenya's biggest water tower. 15 schools have been closed as a result with many fearing how this is going to affect more than 2000 school going children who are part of the evictees
